O.K. Red--- This one's for YOU

You went to school today a little nervous because your school is having a "shut down" drill today. Gran's not too happy about you riding a school bus, because EVEN though, there are laws that put parents in jail for not strapping kids in -our school buses still don't have seat belts and the seat ahead of you is hard with no cushion... Hmmmm what DOES that say about our society.. I'll think on that. 

I heard you tell the crossing guard there is nothing to worry about and you told me as we rounded the corner and you saw the police, "they're not here to do us any harm Gran"..

You wanted this blog today, and every day so we can put it on mommy's desk top and you can go on it ... all by yourself...and read every day when you move to Lake Tahoe. You want to read about how much Gran Loves you.

I love you Red, "On Every Day and in Every Way" I will miss you every day, and every time I pass your school, I will feel sad. BUT, if I know you are happy up there, in the mountains where is snows until April and you can play in the snow, then Gran will be happy and know I'll see you as much as I can and wait for you and Mommy and Adam to move closer to Gran and Pappys.

I am happy that you lived with us these last years and I had every day with you and your little comments, filled with wisdom.. You made Gran and Pappys laugh at least once a day.

So Little Red, for now, Mommy will read you my blogs and help you write back to me; pretty soon, You'll do this by yourself.
